Well I was writing out some more of Violet's backstory, and I thought that a fun way to introduce Violet to guns was for her to get shot in the wing while trying to save some lady from a couple of douchebags in an alleyway one night.

But then the lady gets concerned when she sees that the wound is still bleeding and drags Violet to a hospital and I literally just wrote two pages of Violet at the hospital not understanding what a phone or a stethoscope is or modern medical practices in general and trying to explain to the doctor that "really, I'm fine, just stop the bleeding and once the sun rises I can heal it don't ask how I don't want to explain it".

And now I'm 100% certain that at least half of Violet's backstory will involve random civilians she saves and befriends trying to explain modern technology and slang to Violet who kind of understands but is also confused as heck.
