YOU DIDN'T THINK I FORGOT ABOUT THESE DORKS DID YOU?!?!?!

More Pacific Rim AU! This time it's Laella, Liz, and a human!Violet! Down in K-Science. Examining Kaiju bits. Yup.

_{(Please forgive Lae's arm, I have no idea what it's supposed to be doing. Uuuuuuuugh anatomy why??!?!)}

Liz is actually like a J-Tech or LOCCENT tech or maybe even a chef or something, idk, but she's definitely NOT examining Kaiju bits on a regular basis. If anything she just brings people coffee and donuts (much to the delight of everyone) and hangs out with her BFFs Laella and Violet and sits in the spinny chair and talks about absolutely nothing important while they work. Since there are no powers, Liz lost her parents in the initial Trespasser attack on San Francisco, but she was (luckily) visiting a friend in a different town that wasn't directly stomped on. She joined the PPDC hoping to help the war effort somehow so that someday they could stop the attacks and keep other families from going through what she went through.

Laella is a biology nerd and even though she went to vet school and stuff she decided to jump on the K-Sci bandwagon with her friend Violet. Violet's backstory is in the works but she does the dissections while Laella examines smaller pieces under the microscope to try and understand what the Kaiju are made of.

And basically all 3 are somewhat Drift compatible. Like, Laella and Liz is an okay bond, Laella and Violet is a fairly strong bond, Liz and Violet is a very strong bond - but they don't actually KNOW that since they have basically 0 interest in actually getting in a Jaeger.

_{Side note: initially I had an idea for a Pacific Rim AU where they were all Titans with powers and whatnot, so before the Jaegers were built the Titans got called on a lot to try and help slow the Kaiju down. Liz ended up being my major focus, because even after the PPDC built the Jaegers they would send Liz out to be bait and slow the Kaiju down because she's dead and even though her powers weren't strong enough to kill the Kaiju it was definitely annoying to them so Liz got to fly around taunting these huge-ass monsters and it was a glorious glorious idea but I figured non-powered AU was what we were going for so yup sorry Liz no blasting Kaiju in the face for you.}
